As we built our business, we knew we wanted to share our profits with organizations that are dedicated to improving our community, our environment and our world.
Deciding to share our profits was easy but finding the right charitable organizations to partner with is an enormous commitment. In the end, we came up with idea of allowing our customers to help us decide.
Global 10% Program
We believe that decisions as important as community giving should be made by the most important members of the community. To that end, we invite you - our customers - to the table to help us with decisions around charitable giving.
We are excited to have a program that allows us to give back to the global community through philanthropies that make a difference in the lives of our customers. Through our Global 10% Program we will makes donations to the non-profit organizations that are important to you.
Our annual charitable gift(s) is given out on June 1st of each year. Link to us and let us know what charities, causes or organizations are important to you. We will take the information you provide and use it to direct our annual charitable giving.
Defining our giving focus:
Although it is our goal to be as flexible as possible with our giving, we found it necessary to adopt some guidelines to ensure our donations make a difference. We support an array of qualified 501(c) 3 charitable organizations. Support will be given to organizations that have been established for a minimum of 3 fiscal/calendar years. Through our Global 10% Program, Iyamah Naturals usually does not provide contributions to:
- organizations that practice discrimination by race, color, creed, sex, age, sexual or transgender orientation or national origin
- individuals (scholarships, stipends, fellowships, travel, etc.)
- political, labor, fraternal, churches or other religious organizations
- athletic teams or sporting events
- recreational or travel programs
- sponsorship of performances, charitable or fund-raising events (dinners, races, walk-a-thons, etc.)
- organizations run out of private homes
